Long Description About the job you are considering Capgemini is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer - HighByte/UNS Engineer to support the implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of Unified Namespace (UNS) solutions within a regulated manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the client's site team in Tarzana, California, supporting HighByte Intelligence Hub initiatives across sandbox, Development (DEV), Pre-Production (PPD), and Production (PRD) environments. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial data integration, manufacturing systems connectivity, deployment processes, and GxP-regulated environments. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional business, manufacturing, IT, and operational technology (OT) teams to deliver reliable and scalable data integration solutions supporting digital manufacturing initiatives. Your Role : Unified Namespace (UNS) & HighByte Implementation • Configure, support, and maintain HighByte Intelligence Hub solutions. • Design and implement data models, pipelines, and integrations within a Unified Namespace architecture. • Support sandbox activities, proof-of-concepts, and production deployments. • Monitor and troubleshoot HighByte platform performance and integration issues. Integration & Deployment • Develop and execute integration testing strategies across manufacturing and enterprise systems. • Support deployment activities across DEV, PPD, and PRD environments. • Participate in release planning, validation, and implementation activities. • Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution during testing and deployment cycles. Manufacturing Systems Integration • Integrate data from manufacturing systems including MES, SCADA, Historian, PLC, ERP, IoT, and cloud platforms. • Collaborate with OT and IT teams to ensure secure and reliable data connectivity. • Support industrial data architecture and digital manufacturing initiatives. Compliance & Validation • Operate within regulated manufacturing and GxP-compliant environments. • Support documentation, testing protocols, validation activities, and change control processes. • Ensure solutions adhere to quality, compliance, cybersecurity, and data integrity standards. Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with client site personnel, manufacturing engineers, system administrators, and technology teams. • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design reviews, status updates, and troubleshooting sessions. • Provide technical guidance and support during implementation and stabilization phases. Your Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline. • 5-10 years of experience in Industrial Digital Transformation, Manufacturing IT/OT, Systems Integration, or Digital Manufacturing. • 2+ years of hands-on experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub or similar industrial data integration platforms. • Experience supporting manufacturing environments through full project lifecycles including development, testing, deployment, and operational support. • Experience working directly with plant/site operations teams. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $74,041 - $161,544 / year. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
