The Digital Construction Services Manager is responsible for leading the development, delivery, and growth of digital construction services that support customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This position directly leads and develops a team of Construction Modeling Specialists, providing strategic direction, technical oversight, resource planning, and quality management to ensure the successful delivery of 3D modeling and digital construction solutions.
In addition to managing the modeling team, the Digital Construction Services Manager is accountable for establishing modeling standards, optimizing workflows, developing team capabilities, and ensuring that all deliverables meet customer expectations for accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
The Digital Construction Services Manager serves as both a strategic leader and technical advisor, helping customers improve productivity, safety, accuracy, and project outcomes through the effective application of construction technology. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, customer engagement, and a deep understanding of civil construction practices, digital delivery workflows, and construction modeling technologies.
Pay Rate: $106,912.22 - $147,005.66 Annually
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Construction Modeling Specialists.
- Establish performance expectations, coaching plans, and professional development opportunities.

- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent within the Digital Construction Services organization.
- Coordinate resources and workloads to support customer and project requirements.
Digital Construction Services Delivery: - Oversee the delivery of 3D modeling, machine control, site positioning, survey support, drone operations, reality capture, and digital project workflows.
- Ensure quality standards are established and maintained across all deliverables.
- Develop and implement best practices, workflows, standards, and operating procedures.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and service commitments to ensure successful execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer outcomes through technology.
Customer Engagement & Business Development: - Act as a trusted advisor to customers regarding digital construction workflows and technology adoption.
- Support the sales organization through customer presentations, demonstrations, and project consultations.
- Collaborate with customers to develop implementation plans that maximize technology value and return on investment.
- Identify opportunities for expanded service offerings and recurring revenue growth.
- Participate in customer strategy meetings, industry events, and technology forums.
Technology & Innovation: - Maintain expertise in industry-leading construction technologies including:

- Reality capture and LiDAR technologies
- Drone mapping and data processing platforms
- GIS and geospatial technologies

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to digital construction workflows and service delivery.
Operational Management: - Manage departmental budgets, performance metrics, and resource planning.
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure effectiveness and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, service, technology support, and leadership teams.
- Support strategic planning and departmental growth initiatives.
Qualifications:Required: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of experience within construction technology, civil construction, survey, machine control, VDC, BIM, or related digital construction disciplines.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong understanding of heavy civil construction operations and project workflows.
- Experience managing customer relationships and technical consulting engagements.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and driving operational performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Preferred: - Experience with Trimble technology solutions.
- Proficiency with Trimble Business Center, Carlson, Civil 3D, and Autodesk.
- Experience with drone operations, LiDAR processing, and reality capture workflows.
- Knowledge of machine control systems, site positioning, and survey equipment.
- Professional certifications related to construction technology, project management, or surveying.
