Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our software development lifecycle. This includes designing and implementing secure architectures, developing and integrating security tools, and collaborating with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement secure architectures for software applications and systems.
2. Develop and integrate security tools, such as vulnerability scanners and intrusion detection systems.
3. Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
5. Participate in incident response activities, including threat hunting and vulnerability management.
6. Automate security tasks and processes using scripting languages, such as Python and PowerShell.
7. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
8. Continuously monitor and analyze security logs and event data to identify potential security threats.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a DevSecOps environment.
3.Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
4. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. Experience with security tools, such as vulnerability scanners and intrusion detection systems. Knowledge of cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
