Full Job Description
ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a DevSecOps Engineers in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.

Key Role:

Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of containerized environment, CI/CD pipelines, and associated DevSecOps tools. Manage compute, storage, networking, and automation tools. Configure, deploy, and maintain platform components in containerized environments. Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for operational visibility. Troubleshoot complex system issues across distributed environments. Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployments. Support system security compliance, patching, and RMF requirements. Collaborate across cross functional teams such as System Administration, Cybersecurity and Software Engineering. Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with five (5) years of DevSecOps Infrastructure Engineer experience, or three (3) years' experience with a Master's degree, or a PhD.
  • Interim DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • CompTIA Security + CE certification or higher.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and familiarity with the following DevSecOps constructs: Containerization such as Docker/Podman. Container orchestration such as Kubernetes, Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE2) or K3s. Experience with Grafana, Artifactory, GitLab/GitHub and other DevSecOps tools.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. Experience with virtualization and building virtualized servers.
  • Experience working in a virtualized VMware environment.
  • Previous Linux System Administration experience highly desired.
  • Familiarity with DoD cyber compliance frameworks. Strong troubleshooting, networking, and automation skills.
  • Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array Warning System (PAWS) (BPP) or other ground-based radars such as the Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS).
  • Familiarity with or experience using a discrepancy management tool, such as Jira. Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
