Position Overview: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer-II to build and maintain infrastructure, deploy applications, and automate operational tasks. This role requires expertise in developing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and processes and thrives in collaborative environments.
This role requires an active TS/SCI. This role can be performed in Colorado Springs, Maryland, Reston, or Washington DC. Key Responsibilities: - Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate and deploy code securely and efficiently.
- Manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Support software release cycles and ensure high availability.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-7 years of DevOps or related IT experience.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with source code management tools (Git, GitLab).
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog.
