Job Title: DevOps Engineer (multiple positions available)

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer (multiple positions available) at our Palo Alto, CA location to work on Interface and coordination to all external Service Providers/Vendors for Data Center Operations.
Expectations and Tasks:
Responsible for IMAC-D services and processes. Handles Goods Receipt. Responsible for Data Center Capacity Management. Support hardware maintenance activities. Work with Data Center Inventory Management or Asset Management. Data Center access management or Access control. Data quality & reporting. Ticket handling in Tool ServiceNow. Responsible for the effective delivery of customer environments in Cloud of respective product lines and to ensure the delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements. Drive automation and standardization to ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime. Collaborate with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. Improve system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independence assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:
• Data Center Electrical Configurations;
• Data Center Mechanical Configurations;
• Data Center IMAC-D Processes;
• SAP S/4 Production Planning;
• Service Request Handling utilizing ServiceNow Tool;
• Stock Inventory utilizing S/4 Material Master; and
• Chain-of-Custody of data bearing components.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $183,872 - $206,460. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $183,872 - $229,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
