Full Job Description
Serves as the Deputy Program Manager for the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP). ATMP is the next worldwide, integrated training systems maintenance and sustainment contract for the Army's Training Aids, Devices, Simulators & Simulations (TADSS), Instrumentation Systems (ISs) and Live-Fire Ranges. The ATMP DPM will help lead the Valiant team of more than 500 employees located worldwide.

    • Has the ability to effectively and rapidly respond to program requirements.
    • Serves as primary contact for site managers
    • Leads program execution to meet technical performance within cost and schedule.
    • Plans and directs integration of a cross-functional program team that represents various organizations within the Company.
    • Effectively manages programs within a project or matrix organization.
    • Identifies program issues with sufficient lead for timely resolution.
    • Manages overall safety and quality program, as required by the contract
    • Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
    • Forecasts, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, services, equipment and tools to meet project and departmental requirements.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
    • Experience working on large/complex DoD Government Contracts required.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
    • Experience recruiting and hiring personnel at US Army bases in CONUS and OCONUS required.
    • Experience maintaining accountability for overall project health: e.g., Cost Performance Index [CPI], Schedule Performance Index [SPI], Earned Value, Common IT Indicators [CITI].
    • Former U.S. Army Senior Leader (Master Sergeant / above or Major / above) with direct experience leading soldiers and utilizing US Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS).
    • Work Experience on US Army TADSS programs as a Leader preferred.
    • Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK] experience, PMP Certification preferred.
Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
