Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure
  • DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex voiding dysfunction through medical and surgical interventions
  • Perform medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse
  • Conduct urodynamics procedures
  • Oversee management of pelvic disorders relevant to fellowship training
  • Engage in general urology medical and surgical management as needed
  • Execute robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS
  • Conduct vaginal surgical procedures as per training
  • Contribute to academic role with Drexel University and involvement in Urology residency program

Full Job Description

Job duties:

  • Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction
  • Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse
  • Urodynamics
  • Management of pelvic disorders as appropriate to the fellowship trained candidate
  • General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope
  • Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS
  • Vaginal surgical procedures as per training
  • Academic appointment with Drexel, if desired
  • Involvement with Urology residency program
