As a Demand Planner with Siemens Electrical Products (EP), you will connect customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and manufacturing priorities to support reliable delivery of electrical infrastructure. This hands-on individual-contributor role supports our Fort Worth, Texas manufacturing operation and is based on-site at the facility. You will apply practical planning expertise to strengthen manufacturing responsiveness, inventory health, and supply chain execution in a global organization. By turning complex demand and supply information into clear, actionable plans, you will help keep production moving and ensure the materials needed to serve customers are available when they matter most.
You will make an impact by:- Developing demand and production plans by analyzing historical data, customer requirements, business inputs, capacity considerations, and material constraints to improve manufacturing readiness.
- Translating demand requirements into executable production schedules by aligning labor availability, production capacity, material availability, and changing business priorities.
- Monitoring inventory and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) signals by identifying shortages, excess inventory, and planning exceptions that could affect production continuity or customer delivery.
- Coordinating planning execution across manufacturing, procurement, materials, logistics, sales, and other cross-functional teams to resolve constraints and maintain alignment between demand and supply.
- Maintaining planning data and requirements in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), MRP, and related manufacturing planning systems to improve schedule accuracy, inventory visibility, and execution discipline.
- Supporting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by consolidating demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and production insights to inform practical business decisions.
- Analyzing planning performance using Microsoft Excel, SAP, or comparable planning tools and supporting process improvements that strengthen forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, inventory health, and customer delivery performance.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field, or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
- Three or more years of hands-on planning experience in demand planning, production planning, material planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain planning, production control, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience executing planning activities and supporting manufacturing operations through production scheduling, material planning, inventory coordination, or related processes.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), production planning, material planning, or comparable manufacturing planning system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, planning coordination, and performance tracking.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Siemens manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with SAP; experience with another comparable planning system will also be considered.
- Experience as a Demand Planner, Production Planner, Material Planner, Manufacturing Planner, Supply Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Production Control Planner, MRP Planner, Production Scheduler, or Inventory Planner.
- Experience supporting demand planning, production scheduling, material availability, inventory management, capacity planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in a smaller manufacturing company or high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Experience participating in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and connecting demand, supply, capacity, and inventory information.
- Experience building supply chain dashboards, analyzing planning performance, or supporting planning process digitalization and automation.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or a comparable supply chain certification.

The pay range for this position is $66,973 - $114,811 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
