Full Job Description
RSM has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background leading Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects. This client-facing role is responsible for understanding clients' business needs and managing full project deployments from discovery through implementation, cutover, hypercare, and post-cutover support. The Project Manager will oversee project timelines, budgets, risks, communications, and deliverables to drive client satisfaction, effective implementation practices, and project profitability. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, creative thinker, fast learner, and detail-oriented professional committed to the team's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Work individually or as part of a team to lead project execution on client engagements.
  • Manage full project deployments from discovery and planning through cutover, hypercare, and post-cutover support.
  • Lead M365 and infrastructure projects valued at more than $250,000.
  • Manage projects such as SharePoint migrations, Exchange migrations, Modern Desktop deployments, virtual desktop infrastructure initiatives, M365 Purview projects, and cloud or data center projects.
  • Utilize proven tools and techniques to execute deliverables aligned with clients' business objectives.
  • Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and approved budgets.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and keep clients informed about project status and expected outcomes.
  • Create end-user documentation, communications, and other materials supporting successful implementations.
  • Work directly with clients and build strong relationships through positive support, clear communication, and sound expertise.
  • Direct and motivate project teams, establish positive working relationships with stakeholders, and serve as an escalation point when necessary.
  • Identify additional areas of opportunity and support the business development process.
  • Mentor diverse client engagement teams through constructive on-the-job coaching while fostering an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented environment.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Significant experience managing Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading complete deployments from discovery through post-cutover support.
  • Experience managing hypercare periods and projects valued at more than $250,000.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project, time, risk, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience creating end-user documentation and communications.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or another relevant project management certification.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $192,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
