Job Description & Summary
Those in deal integration and valuation realisation at PwC will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximising the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration.

As a Delivering Deal Value Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

The Opportunity:

  • Due diligence - stand-alone costs, carve out
  • Synergy review and planning including cost optimization/ business transformation
  • Carve out and separation execution


As part of the transaction process, the DDV team develops a rapid understanding of the target/client business in order to quickly assimilate the key operational issues, synergies, risks and upsides around a transaction.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in providing strategic advice and support to senior management, demonstrating extensive knowledge of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures including pre-deal due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, and/or post-close transformation
  • Experience running large programs (e.g. global, multi-functional) with the ability to manage multiple senior level stakeholders across functions toward delivering against the deal objectives
  • Knowledge of the following functional areas: Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, and/or Sales and Marketing
  • Extensive ability to manage and develop strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work across multiple client projects
  • Functioning as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of client organizations based on competency (integrations/separations)
  • Managing quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data
  • Leading business development and pursuit activities internally with client pursuit teams and externally with client facing meetings and proposal discussions
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities and leading teams through complex engagements (including managing multiple engagements simultaneously)
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
  • The ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
