Join the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and play a key role in advancing perioperative analytics through the continued growth of our Perioperative Data Warehouse (PDW), a custom SQL data warehouse that supports administrative, quality improvement, research, and predictive analytics initiatives using data from UCLA Health's Epic platform. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Chief Data Architect for the Center of Excellence for Perioperative Analytics, you will provide database development, technical, and analytical expertise while collaborating with faculty, researchers, and operational leaders.
As a Database Administrator and SQL Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain the department's SQL-based data warehouse, including queries, stored procedures, functions, and supporting documentation. You will help ensure data security, compliance, and system integrity; partner with faculty and staff to support research, operational, and quality improvement initiatives; collaborate with bioinformatics teams to evaluate and prioritize data requests; support multi-center research databases and data integration efforts; and represent the department in cross-functional discussions related to data governance, system enhancements, and warehouse expansion. Annual Salary Range: $88,900.00 - $1 90,300.00
