Forest River is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations behind our enterprise data capabilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can connect technology, analytics, governance, and business priorities into a scalable data vision.
What You'll Do
• Lead the development and execution of a multi-year enterprise data strategy.
• Set direction for data warehouse, reporting, analytics, data governance, and AI-related capabilities.
• Oversee Microsoft SQL Server architecture, performance, reliability, security, and modernization.
• Partner with business and executive leaders to improve operations and decision-making through trusted data.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data, analytics, and database professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, platform performance, governance maturity, and business value.
What You'll Bring
• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, database administration, data engineering, or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or enterprise manufacturing systems experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or related Azure data technologies.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise data initiatives.
• Deep hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience in large-scale data warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing, backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with enterprise reporting, analytics, data integration, and data governance practices.
• Strong executive communication, business partnership, and team leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
• Microsoft SQL Server or Azure data certification.
• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or advanced data modeling initiatives.
• Experience with enterprise data governance, master data management, or data quality improvement programs.
• Experience leading analytics modernization, cloud data platform, or digital transformation initiatives.
You'll help shape enterprise data strategy, influence decision-making, modernize data platforms, and lead a talented team in a culture of practical innovation and continuous improvement.
