The role involves data modeling, ETL development, data integration, reporting support, and performance optimization to enable accurate and reliable business intelligence and analytics.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Create data models including star schema, snowflake schema, fact tables, and dimension tables.
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, applications, and external systems.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and quality checks.
- Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflow processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, business users, and application teams.
- Troubleshoot data loading issues, data discrepancies, and performance problems.
- Maintain technical documentation including data models, mappings, and ETL workflows.
- Support data warehouse upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in data warehouse development and database technologies.
