Opportunity:
The Data Transfer Agent/Officer (DTA/O)will oversee and govern the transfer of information into, out of, and between authorized systems. The DTA/O will ensure all data transfer activities comply with organizational policies, requirements, and applicable security controls. Shall serve as the point of contact for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data.

Responsibilities:
Data Transfer Governance: Review and approve transfer requests, validate justification, authorization, etc
Security and Compliance: Ensure use of approved data transfer methods
Accountability and Documentation: Maintain transfer records, audit logs, and support continuous monitoring via regular reporting
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as primary point of contact for data transfer inquiries
On a daily basis perform ticket queue management, data transfer execution, compliance and security monitoring.

Qualifications:
Required:

Active Polygraph

Experience supporting regulated information systems
Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and information flow principles
Familiarity with removable media procedures, cross domain solutions, and secure data transfer processes
Strong understanding of audit, compliance, and authorization requirements

Desired:
AWS certification; Solutions Architect - Associate level.
2 years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
2 years of software development tools and methodologies
2 years of experience with documentation and written communication
Technical Associates degree
