Job Description
"Skills and Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration both infrastructure and Application management.
• Experience in scripting and automation of operational tasks in one or more languages like Python, Shell Scripting, Ansible... etc.
• Strong understanding of various networking protocols like TCP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS
• Experience working with SSAS, databases/and SQL language.
• General understanding of Windows server administration.
• ITIL knowledge, including incident/change/problem management
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations for outage-handling
• Strong organizational skills to deliver on time and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident handling, management and resolution.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Independent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a mindset for taking ownership.
• Skills Desired: Windows & IIS administration experience
• Tomcat/Apache experience - ITIL certification
• Familiarity with Agile working practices and DevOps
• Experience working with or supporting Business Intelligence applications (Business Objects, QlikView, Tableau, Power Bl.)
• Prior experience working in the financial services industry"
