Job DescriptionACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIREDAs a Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer on Team Nyla, you will bring your technical creativity and analytical curiosity to transform complex data streams into intuitive graphs, charts, dashboards, and visual findings. Working alongside a team of brilliant, ever-curious engineers and analysts, you will drive data aggregation, processing, and curation, while pinpointing and correcting data anomalies along the way. Using Python, Jupyter, and deep familiarity with customer dataflows, you'll help build the visual layer of critical mission workflows. The annual base salary range for this role is $152,000-$180,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Data Visualization & Analytics: Proven experience designing and presenting complex data findings through clear, interactive visualizations, graphs, charts, and executive-level dashboards.
- Data Processing & Curation: Practical experience with data aggregation, processing, curation, and identifying/resolving data errors or pipeline anomalies.
- Development Toolkit: Strong hands-on experience using Python and Jupyter notebooks for exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and prototyping.
- Customer Dataflows: In-depth knowledge of customer dataflows, data processing architectures, and handling complex dataset structures.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
7+ years of professional experience in data science, NLP, or software engineering OR
Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS
5+ years of relevant professional experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
11+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsPractical experience with
Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, algorithms, or framework integration.
Exposure to modern
AI / Large Language Model (LLM) integration, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted data analytics pipelines.
Familiarity with front-end dashboarding libraries or frameworks (e.g., Plotly, Dash, Streamlit, D3.js).
Active involvement in continuous learning, prototype development, or emerging tech exploration.
Outstanding communication skills with a team-first, collaborative mindset.
