Full Job Description
Data Scientist to support a Government intelligence mission. In this role, you will apply statistics, machine learning, data mining, and other data science techniques to large volumes of intelligence data to identify trends, support predictive analysis, and deliver clear findings to decision makers. You will develop and integrate algorithms that support intelligence search and discovery, recommend best practices for managing data, and produce written, visual, and verbal products that communicate complex technical results.
Clearance: TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain CI polygraph
Responsibilities:
Apply mathematics, statistics, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, data compression, data protection, and other scientific techniques to translate complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal products.
Identify trends in existing intelligence data and leverage other Intelligence Community (IC) data sources.
Develop and use machine learning, data mining, and prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities.
Integrate or code algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.
Recommend best practices for managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints.
Apply data science techniques to support predictive analysis, social media and crowd-sourced data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
Use exploratory analysis and rapid iteration on large volumes of data to quickly derive intelligence.
Prepare products that describe and document findings and activities.
