Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in data science, NLP, Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, and LLM-based customer-facing product development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and deploying production-grade machine learning systems at scale and is expected to progress toward a lead data science role. During the initial engagement, the individual will work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers on product deployment, RAG implementation, and scaling production-grade machine learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and support production-grade machine learning systems at scale.
• Build and deploy Generative AI, RAG, Agentic AI, and LLM-based solutions.
• Participate in product development, deployment, maintenance, and new feature development.
• Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers throughout product deployment.
• Apply machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
• Work directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures, including BERT, RoBERTa, and T5.
• Apply LLM technologies including ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, Claude, Mistral, and similar models.
• Work with large datasets and distributed computing systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Develop solutions using Python or another programming language.
• Mentor and train colleagues and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Contribute to product deployment, RAG development, and scaling of production-grade machine learning systems.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of data science experience.
• Strong background in NLP, with the most recent 4-5 years focused on Generative AI data science.
• Strong experience with production-grade machine learning systems at scale.
• Strong experience with LLM, Generative AI, and RAG deployments, including implementations and evaluations.
• Experience following the full deployment lifecycle, including product build, maintenance, and new feature development.
• Experience working alongside Machine Learning Engineers through product deployment.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience working directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience mentoring, training, and acting as a subject matter expert to guide colleagues.
