Full Job Description
Design and deliver scalable, high-quality data models that enable enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. Translate business requirements into optimized data structures aligned with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models across modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)
  • Design dimensional (star/snowflake) and normalized models based on use case
  • Translate business requirements into entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules
  • Partner with data engineers to define ETL/ELT mappings, transformations, and lineage
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and governance policies
  • Drive data quality, consistency, and metadata management (e.g., Collibra/Alation)
  • Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, and design documentation


Qualifications
  • 10+ years in data modeling / data architecture
  • Strong expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalization, and/or Data Vault
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner)


Preferred
  • Exposure to Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault 2.0 / Lakehouse architectures
  • Familiarity with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation)
  • Experience supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics data structures
  • Domain experience in financial services / enterprise data modernization

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
