Full Job Description
As a Data Governance & Catalog Specialist at AFS, you will implement and manage the data cataloging and metadata strategy for the product. Responsibilities • Lead the integration and operationalization of the automated metadata publishing service tool to automate metadata extraction and the application of classification and security tags. • Ensure that all data products within the data catalog are accurately tagged, described, and governed according to DoW policies, making them "readily consumable". • Work with data owners to define and enforce data quality rules and access control policies. • This role acts as part of the "Enabling Team" that supports domain data providers and consumers. Basic Qualifications • Experience with data cataloging tools and automated tagging platforms. • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry's data governance features is also beneficial. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality. • Knowledge of DoW data standards, metadata guidance, and data classification requirements (e.g., CUI) Clearance • An active Secret federal security clearance is required As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
