Responsibilities
To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building hyper-scale data centers globally that host hundreds of thousands of servers. We are looking for a Site Acquisition Specialist who will work closely with our engineering, capacity planning, and operations teams, as well as various global teams and leaders, as part of a broader effort to learn the end-to-end site acquisition process. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. We are looking for a motivated prospect to join our team as an Associate in Data Center Site Acquisition. You'll support capacity planning and site acquisition efforts in assigned metros/regions, working alongside experienced team members to learn the end-to-end lifecycle of data center deals, from market research through lease execution. Responsibilities - Work with stakeholders to help understand capacity needs and site requirements in assigned metros/regions; support data center market analysis and research to inform site acquisition strategy - Help engage and evaluate qualified suppliers; support the site acquisition/procurement process, including due-diligence tasks and documentation - Assist in managing the existing lease portfolio, tracking key terms, deadlines, and renewal opportunities - Support cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Engineering, Compliance) in preparing materials for contract negotiations - Help prepare deal summaries, lease abstracts, and cost analyses for review by senior team members and decision-makers - Coordinate meeting logistics and documentation across cross-functional stakeholders to keep deals moving toward execution
Qualification
Minimum Qualifications: - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or other relevant fields. - Strong organizational and project coordination skills; able to track multiple workstreams and deadlines - Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable engaging with cross-functional partners - Genuine interest in infrastructure, real estate, or data center markets Preferred Qualifications: - Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in real estate, supply chain, procurement, construction, or facility management - Exposure to financial analysis or lease/contract concepts through coursework or internships - Familiarity with data center, telecom, or infrastructure industrie

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $76000 - $128000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
