Job DescriptionEquinix, the world's leading provider of data center and interconnection solutions, is seeking a Data Center Expense Advisor to support purchasing operations and financial processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role ensures seamless procurement and financial accountability while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Procure to Pay Process
- Creates Purchase Requisitions for the country/region expenses within a limited scope
- Monitors purchase order quality and provides KPI reporting in order to improve process
- Works with requestors to make sure POs receipted correctly and timely
- Updates commitment values vs. POs &, working with Ops Finance/General Ledger, assesses what commitments have not been made vs. budget
- Ensures compliance of Purchase Requests (5 W's), all required contracts/legal approvals, accounting codes and competitive bids
- Contacts vendor for invoices where necessary
- Solves billing/invoice problems related to the country/region expenses
Reporting
- Responsible for running and providing purchase order commitment reporting to Data Center teams
- Navigate commitment tracking report, updating purchase order information, and fund reallocation when communicated by Data Center teams
Business Relationships
- Supports vendors as key point of contact for query resolution management working closely with Accounts Payable team
- Acts as the link between the business and finance to meet commitments
Qualifications- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Finance or Accounting background preferred
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - DA6 Dallas : 61,200 - 91,800 USD / Annual
United States - LA7 Los Angeles : 67,400 - 101,000 USD / Annual
Canada - MT1 Montreal : 58,000 - 86,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.
