Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.
The Data Analyst will support data stewardship workflows, metadata definitions, taxonomy alignment, data-use agreements, MOUs, ISAs, responsible data-use practices, and evidence supporting VA CDO-aligned governance. Also provides matrixed Trustworthy AI governance support to AI/ML by helping maintain model governance evidence, risk assessments, documentation artifacts, monitoring outputs, issue logs, and corrective-action tracking for AI-enabled use cases.
Job Location: Remote, however, strong preference for candidates who live in the Washington DC Metro Area. There will be occasional onsite meetings on the client site in Washington, DC.

What You Will Do:
3 Supports data stewardship workflows, metadata definitions, taxonomy alignment, data-use agreements, MOUs, ISAs, responsible data-use practices, and evidence supporting VA CDO-aligned governance.
3 Also provides matrixed Trustworthy AI governance support to AI/ML by helping maintain model governance evidence, risk assessments, documentation artifacts, monitoring outputs, issue logs, and corrective-action tracking for AI-enabled use cases.
3 Apply Data stewardship, data use agreements, MOUs/ISAs, metadata definitions, trustworthy AI documentation, risk assessments, governance evidence, and policy documentation to support role delivery.
3 Collaborate with relevant product, engineering, security, governance, quality, and customer-facing stakeholders as required by the role.
3 Document work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence to support traceability and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
3 U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
3 Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
3 Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
3 Bachelors degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Public Administration, Business Analytics, Library/Information Science, Legal/Policy Studies, or related field or or a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.
3 Minimum 6 years of relevant experience aligned to the responsibilities of this role.
Preferred Qualifications
3 Masters may count as Bachelors + 2 yrs of relevant experience.
3 Experience with Data stewardship and data use agreements.
3 Experience with MOUs/ISAs and metadata definitions.
3 Experience with trustworthy AI documentation and risk assessments.
3 Experience with governance evidence and policy documentation.
3 Experience supporting federal government or other highly regulated environments.
3 Experience working in cross-functional Agile delivery teams.
