Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong database and data modeling background who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and scalable solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to advance enterprise data capabilities and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
This is a full-time, on-site employment opportunity based in the Cary, NC area.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective data models and solutions.
. Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models (3NF) within relational database environments.
. Develop dimensional data models using Kimball modeling techniques.
. Build data visualization dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
. Support data governance, data quality, data cataloging, and lineage initiatives.
. Perform data manipulation, querying, profiling, and analysis across cloud and on-premises platforms.
. Contribute to ETL solutions, data pipelines, and enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
. Partner with data architects, data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with the overall data strategy.
. Communicate complex data concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 6 9 years of experience in data analytics, data warehousing, data modeling, or related disciplines.
. Strong experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
. Expertise in relational and dimensional data modeling.
. Experience with modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner.
. Strong SQL skills, preferably across Snowflake and Oracle.
. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, data warehouses, ETL technologies, and data pipelines.
. Experience with data governance platforms such as Alation and/or Collibra.
. Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban.
. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
. AWS certification or cloud experience.
. Financial Services industry experience.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,800.00 - $136,200.00.
