  • Coordinate with targets' webmasters to ensure accurate data reporting on the web portal
  • Collaborate with operations centers and leads to support mission objectives.

Full Job Description
Identify and manage internal and external all-source Military Operations, including both analytical and collection requirements from across the Military Operations community. Reports to the Survey Analysis Center Chief. May work alone or with DoD civilians and military personnel. Performs a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: interfaces with other offices and agencies to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks, identifies requirements and tasks them to the appropriate collection elements, verifies that responses meet requirements, compiles the daily activities report and distributes, coordinates with the specified targets- webmaster to verify reporting data is posted to the web portal, coordinates with operations centers and operational leads to support missions.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and maintain visually compelling, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Data Preparation & ETL: Extract, clean, and transform data from disparate sources (SQL databases, spreadsheets, cloud services) using Power Query.
  • Data Modeling: Develop robust data models, define relationships, and write complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations and measures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Audit and validate datasets to ensure absolute accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data security practices.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis using SQL and Python/R to discover hidden trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.


Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Professional experience in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: [2-5] years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or BI Developer.
  • Power BI Expertise: Deep proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and row-level security (RLS).
  • Database Skills: Strong ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional data storytelling abilities, with the skill to present technical data clearly to executive leadership.
  • Clearance: Active Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret.

  • 5+ years in the Joint or Army special operations community.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $80200.00 - $149000.00

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.
  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
