Full Job Description
Winstead PC is seeking a 1-3 year associate for a position with our Labor & Employment practice group in Dallas. We are seeking candidates who have experience with a variety of corporate matters, primarily working with employment agreements, issue statements, discovery with restrictive covenants and trade secret matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  1. Corporate Experience: Experience with issue spotting in due diligence in mergers and acquisition, researching legal issues in employment matters, and reviewing and revising employment-related agreements and employee handbooks.
  2. Litigation Experience: Experience handling discovery, motions, and briefs in restrictive covenant and trade secret matters. Single plaintiff employment litigation experience is preferred but not required.
  3. EEOC experience: Experience with the EEOC process, including preparing position statements and responses to requests for information.
  4. Strong academics: Candidates should have strong academic credentials.
  5. Writing skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal drafting and client communication.
