OPAL-RT Technologies recherche un Développeur en Automatisation de Tests

Sommaire du poste :

Dans le cadre de l'introduction de nouveaux produits et de l'amélioration continue des opérations, le titulaire du poste consacre la majorité de son temps à l'automatisation, au déploiement et à la documentation des tests de production. Il contribue également à certains projets de transformation numérique, d'intelligence d'affaires et d'implantation de systèmes manufacturiers. Le candidat travaille en étroite collaboration avec le chef de division - opérations, les équipes de production et de R&D.

Principales tâches :

Automatisation des tests et introduction de nouveaux produits (activité principale) :

• Automatiser les tests existants et développer les solutions de test pour les nouveaux produits.
• Concevoir, assembler, documenter et déployer les stations de test destinées à la production.
• Collaborer avec la R&D afin de définir les exigences de test et assurer leur transfert vers les opérations.
• Rédiger et maintenir les procédures de test et la documentation technique.
• Former les équipes de production sur les nouveaux moyens et procédures de test.
• Participer à l'amélioration continue des méthodes de test et de validation.

.Exigences :

• Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou tout autre domaine pertinent (technologies, génie industriel, assemblage, etc.)
• 3-5 ans d'expérience pertinente.

Connaissances techniques requises :

• Connaissances en automatisation de tests, instrumentation ou développement de moyens de test.
• Connaissances en Python, MATLAB/Simulink et tout autre langage de développement logiciel.
• Expérience avec des systèmes ERP, WMS ou manufacturiers (un atout).
• Excellente maîtrise d'Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, fonctions avancées, Power Query) (un atout).

• Connaissances linguistiques : Français obligatoire. Une bonne connaissance de l'anglais est nécessaire pour la lecture d'ouvrages spécialisés/scientifiques non disponibles en français et pour l'utilisation de logiciels spécialisés qui n'existent qu'en anglais.
• Compétences personnelles recherchées: Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec des interlocuteurs de formations diverses (concepteurs de cartes, ingénieurs micrologiciel, développeurs logiciels, techniciens/ingénieurs de test), rigueur et détermination, organisation et planification, gestion des attentes, capacité à travailler en équipe, autonomie et proactivité, flexibilité et capacité d'adaptation.

Job Summary:

As part of the introduction of new products and the continuous improvement of operations, the incumbent will spend the majority of their time automating, deploying, and documenting production tests. They will also contribute to certain digital transformation, business intelligence, and manufacturing system implementation projects. The candidate will work closely with the Division Manager - Operations, as well as the Production and R&D teams.

Main Responsibilities:

Test Automation and New Product Introduction (primary activity):

• Automate existing tests and develop test solutions for new products.
• Design, assemble, document, and deploy production test stations.
• Collaborate with R&D to define test requirements and ensure their transfer to Operations.
• Write and maintain test procedures and technical documentation.
• Train production teams on new test equipment and procedures.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing and validation methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant field (technology, industrial engineering, assembly, etc.).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Required Technical Knowledge :

• Knowledge of test automation, instrumentation, or test equipment development.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and any other software development language.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or manufacturing systems (an asset).
• Excellent proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, Power Query) (an asset).
• Good knowledge of Power BI, Jet Reports, and Power Automate (an asset).

• Language Skills: French is mandatory. Good knowledge of English is required for reading specialized/scientific literature that is not available in French and for using specialized software that is only available in English.
• Desired Personal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds (board designers, firmware engineers, software developers, test technicians/engineers), attention to detail and determination, organization and planning, expectation management, ability to work as part of a team, autonomy and proactivity, flexibility, and adaptability.
