Position SummaryThe Cybersecurity Manager leads the organization's cybersecurity program, protecting Banner's information, technology, operations, and digital assets from evolving threats. This role is responsible for defining and operating security governance, risk management, security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness across the global enterprise. Partnering with IT/OT leaders, business teams, and third parties the Cybersecurity Manager translates business needs and risk into practical, scalable security controls that enable Banner's continued growth.
This position reports to the VP of IT/OT.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and continuously improve Banner's global cybersecurity program, aligning security strategy, priorities, and investments with business objectives and risk.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance practices consistent with recognized frameworks and applicable requirements.
- Direct security operations, including threat monitoring, security event triage, investigations, incident response, and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Manage the vulnerability-management program, including vulnerability identification, risk-based prioritization, remediation tracking, validation, and executive escalation.
- Lead cybersecurity risk assessments for enterprise systems, cloud services, manufacturing and operational technology environments, vendors, and new technology initiatives.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing, Legal, HR, and business leaders to embed appropriate security requirements into projects, processes, and services.
- Oversee cybersecurity vendor relationships, managed security services, contracts, and service-level expectations to ensure effective and cost-conscious protection.
- Develop and report meaningful cybersecurity metrics, risk trends, and program status to IT/OT leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop cybersecurity personnel and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility for security.

Required- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity or information-security experience, including leadership or program-management responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs, security operations, and risk-based improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security controls, and frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, security monitoring, and third-party risk management.
- Experience securing a hybrid on-premises and cloud technology environment, including on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms and services, endpoints, networks, and operational technology or industrial environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain risk and recommendations clearly to technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing risks, build practical security roadmaps, and drive cross-functional execution.
Preferred- Master's degree preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC, CCSP, or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working for an Industrial Manufacturing company
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for cybersecurity personnel and is responsible for hiring, training, evaluating performance, managing workloads, and addressing disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies.

Base Pay Range: $133,046.00 - $192,658.00
