Standard Job DescriptionThe WorkWe are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Software Engineer to support the design, implementation, hardening, and sustainment of secure mission systems across both CONUS and OCONUS environments.
This role requires strong technical expertise in systems engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure security, automation, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will support secure architecture development, system accreditation activities, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and automation of security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
The Cyber Systems Engineer will work closely with software engineers, infrastructure teams, customer representatives, security architects, program leadership, and operational users to ensure mission systems remain secure, resilient, and compliant.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
This position is based out of King of Prussia, PA or Colorado Springs, CO and is hybrid but required to work onsite 3 days a week.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 50%.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with AI/ML/DL for cyber analysis and auditing.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and/or patching
• Sec+ Certification.
• Base understanding of Risk Management Framework, (RMF) NIST SP 800-53.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
• This position requires the ability to travel up to 50%.
Desired Skills• Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.)
• Experience supporting DoD weapon systems, aviation platforms, or classified mission systems.
• Experience with Containerization technologies to include Kubernetes and Openshift
• Experience with Virtualization platforms/hypervisors
• Experience implementing container security and Kubernetes hardening.
• Familiarity with SIEM Tools deployment and administration specifically ArcSight
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and cyber resiliency engineering.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00
