Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a systems safety engineer for the Common Weapon Launcher, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for all aspects of the system from a system safety perspective. This includes participating in all aspects of the product lifecycle, documenting safety analyses, and communicating with both internal and customer teams.

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related degree
- Professional experience in an engineering role, preferably system safety (MIL-STD-882E) or defense related
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
