About the RoleBedrock is looking for a Customer Experience and Enablement Lead to help our partners and their crews confidently adopt autonomy on the jobsite. Closely supporting our Commercial, Operations, and Product leaders, you9ll design the onboarding, training, and field engagements that prepare customers for deployments and help crews build the skills to succeed.
This is a senior, hands-on role within Marketing for someone who combines customer advocacy, program design, strong writing, and community-building instincts. You9ll personally develop the materials that support the partner experience, build meaningful connections with customer leaders and field crews, and turn their feedback into better training, communications, and enablement.
You9ll also own the strategy for Bedrock University-starting with practical resources for our earliest partners, then developing structured pathways toward certification for on-site Autonomy Technicians. You9ll also build our customer and field advisory-board programs into more frequent ways for customers to offer feedback and learn from one another. This role focuses on scalable programs and partner readiness, rather than individual account management, help-desk support, or deployment execution.
Key Responsibilities- Design the customer-facing onboarding experience alongside our Commercial team, ensuring customer leaders and field crews understand what to expect from day one
- Own the communications, materials, collateral, and content that support onboarding, deployments, crew training, and ongoing enablement.
- Equip Bedrock9s field teams to deliver consistent onboarding and training through clear facilitator guidance, reusable materials, and practical tools.
- Write and develop training resources, guides, presentations, and other materials with input from technical and safety experts, field operations teams, and creative partners.
- Build programs that strengthen crew confidence and readiness, making our technology approachable, practical, and relevant to day-to-day jobsite responsibilities.
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Bedrock University, evolving practical training resources and workshops into structured learning pathways, skills assessments, and eventual certification for on-site Autonomy Technicians and other supporting roles.
- Own the community and program mechanics of customer and field advisory boards, including member engagement, communications, meeting cadence, participation, and follow-through
- Partner with Commercial, Product, and Ops to ensure the right insights are collected through advisory board experiences to inform technical roadmap and future GTM motions
- Develop ongoing opportunities such as webinars for customer leaders and field crews to exchange ideas, share practical experiences, and learn from one another.
- Establish workflows and measures that help Bedrock understand crew readiness, training effectiveness, partner participation, and the quality of field feedback.
- Travel regularly to customers, active jobsites, training activities, and advisory-board gatherings to build relationships and keep programs grounded in field realities.
What We9re Looking For- 8+ years of experience in customer enablement, customer education, workforce development, training, community programs, partner engagement, or a comparable discipline.
- A strategic, hands-on program builder who can connect partner needs, field realities, and business priorities into practical, scalable experiences.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical input into clear, useful materials for audiences with different responsibilities and levels of familiarity.
- Experience designing onboarding, training, or learning programs that build confidence and prepare people to apply new skills in their work.
- Strong community-building and facilitation instincts. You can earn trust, encourage participation, and create useful exchanges among customer leaders, crews, and internal experts.
- The ability to learn unfamiliar subjects quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and work with technical and safety specialists to ensure materials are accurate and appropriate.
- Strong project leadership and operational discipline. You can coordinate multiple stakeholders, create structure from ambiguity, and move work from concept through delivery.
- A collaborative, low-ego working style and genuine respect for the people in the field.
- Construction or field-operations experience is a plus, but not required. Experience building an academy, certification pathway, advisory-board program, or peer-learning community is helpful.
Location and TravelThis is a primarily in-office role, with San Francisco or Austin as preferred locations. Regular travel to customer sites, jobsites, training activities, and partner gatherings is required.
