ResponsibilitiesThe Real Assets and Infrastructure ("RAI") group within Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) AMER is seeking a Credit Analyst to be based in Société Générale's New York office.Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) is a specialized function within Société Générale's Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) division. CPM oversees the bank's credit portfolios, focusing on credit risk monitoring, portfolio optimization, and capital efficiency across a wide range of asset classes and sectors.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for credit portfolio management functions covering the Commercial Real Estate, Aircraft and Leasing Business Lines.Assist senior members of the team for the preparation of CPM memos for reviews of new originations. Prepare annual credit reviews (including financial analysis, update of projections, market research, appraisal review and rating proposal) for assigned accounts.Update financial projections per internal requirements.Process amendments, waivers, and consents, including obtaining all required internal credit approvals.Responsible for credit monitoring and reporting including General and Specific Credit Triggers.Cooperation with internal MAI for the management of appraisals.Collateral monitoring ensuringPerform quarterly asset reviews for watch-list and provisioned loans and presentations in local and global meetings.Work in close collaboration with third party servicer for the services provided by them and perform related oversight functions.Provide information on credit files to investors.Monitoring of limits in coordination with other groups.Participation to client and lenders meetings.Prepare reports and responses to management inquiries on portfolios.Assume lead role in assigned projects.Assist in internal and external audits and examinations of portfolios.Participate in workout of troubled portfolio credits.Profile requiredTECHNICAL SKILLSExperience in Commercial Real EstateCash flow modeling and valuation skills developed in a financial services environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OutlookStrong aptitude for learning and using SG systemsArgus training is a plus. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
