Full Job Description
Overview

North America Stores Creative (NASC) Ops is seeking a Creative Project Manager to manage the end-to-end creative asset development for Amazon Online Grocery. This role executes creative initiatives across homepage, storefront, onsite placements, outbound, paid social, and email to support Online Grocery's product marketing strategy. Working with Creative, Marketing Partners, and Channel Owners, you will translate marketing objectives into actionable creative project plans and ensure seamless execution.

You will thrive in a fluid, fast-moving environment where ambiguity is the norm and speed-to-market is essential, balancing structured project management with the agility that Online Grocery's business demands. As the Grocery creative team is still being established, this role requires someone comfortable building new processes, defining ways of working, and driving clarity where little exists today.

This candidate should possess an Earns Trust mentality, with a proven track record of establishing partnerships with cross-functional teams to move projects forward. You will lead internal and agency-produced work, acting as the key project driver with internal stakeholders and be highly proficient in presenting concepts, project updates, and creative work to leadership. You should continuously look around corners to avoid project roadblocks and proactively invent and simplify processes within your work stream. The ideal candidate leads through ambiguity, guiding project stakeholders to the next decision with confidence, fostering open communication while maintaining respect for differing viewpoints.

Key job responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end creative asset development including intake, brief review, kickoff, scheduling, review coordination, and delivery

- Collaborate with agencies, designers, writers, creative directors, and cross-functional partners to align deliverables with marketing strategy and channel requirements

- Communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs effectively to leadership, partners, and team members; present creative work and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders

- Proactively identify delivery risks, escalate conflicts, and develop mitigation plans to remove roadblocks in partnership with creative and marketing leads

- Define and manage creative development process workflows, including prioritization, schedules, and stakeholder responsibilities

- Ensure the creative team focuses on priority projects with clarity on objectives, vision, and requirements

- Ensure all deliverables meet business partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines, budgets, and style guides

- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks across the creative production lifecycle

- Support AI-generated content approaches and rapid-turnaround merchandising workflows

- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across functions through consistent delivery

- Manage project information accurately for creative teams, stakeholders, and senior management

- Analyze project performance metrics and share insights for future strategy

- Contribute to roadmap planning, identifying dependencies and resource requirements

- Understand creative deliverables to accurately scope projects, requirements and timelines

- Coordinate agency and vendor relationships as the Grocery creative agency is established, including onboarding, scope alignment, and quality oversight in partnership with Ops

A day in the life

You'll start the day triaging creative requests from Grocery Marketing stakeholders, prioritizing briefs based on business impact and deadlines. Mid-morning, you'll run a stand-up with the agency, creative director, designers and copywriters to align on active projects and resolve blockers. After lunch, you'll partner with PMMs to scope incoming campaigns, build timelines, and manage creative intake through Airtable. You'll close the day reviewing assets in progress, flagging quality issues, and prepping status updates for leadership. Every day is a balance of stakeholder communication, creative & process problem-solving, and keeping the production engine running.
