Project Overview:Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:In this role, you will lead a team to provide rigging/heavy haul engineering support to a large project. You will review and approve transport studies, determine equipment requirements, develop strategies for project management, assign work tasks, and monitor progress. Your team will ensure the project has the rigging resources available with the proper qualifications to support the planned work scopes. #LI-BH1
Major Responsibilities:- Manages a team of rigging/heavy haul engineers providing rigging/heavy haul engineering support to a large project OR manages a team of rigging/heavy haul engineers
- Assigns work tasks and monitors progress and quality of assigned tasks.
- Directs and guides rigging/heavy haul engineers in the preparation of conceptual (and working) lift and transport studies.
- Provides subject matter expertise and technical support in developing rigging, heavy haul, transport, and lift strategies for project management and field engineering personnel.
- Mentors, trains, and develops subordinate personnel.
- Provides oversight & technical direction to subordinates and subcontractors.
- Coordinates with Superintendents and the Lead Project Rigging Engineer to validate manpower and rigger qualification requirements.
- Reviews weekly scheduled work plans with discipline superintendents to ensure the project has the rigging resources available with the proper qualifications to support the planned work scopes.
- Ensures that scheduling concerns and constraints are identified and elevated to the construction management team.
Education and Experience Requirements:- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
