The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Chief Product Owner champions Agile product management practices, aligns quality strategies with organizational objectives, understands the documentation integrity quality initiatives in the industry and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver innovative solutions that improve quality outcomes, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Define and communicate the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for outpatient/inpatient Quality products and capabilities.
  • Align product strategies with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Act as the owner of the Quality product portfolio for Solventum and industry quality methodologies such as AHRQ, Elixhauser, HCCs, CMS star and others.
  • Lead product lifecycle management from ideation through implementation and optimization.
  • Ensure product roadmaps support evolving business for the quality portfolio requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate alignment and decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback into product planning and execution.
  • Define and manage product epics, features, and user stories.
  • Ensure Agile teams maintain a clear understanding of business priorities and expected outcomes.
  • Define quality outcome metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify ROI outcome trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor product performance and value realization.
  • Use customer and operational insights to inform product decisions.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university

-OR-
  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and minimum of 11 years of experience in a healthcare related field or in business
  • 8 years of experience in Documentation Integrity for clinical, quality and coding.
  • Five (5) years working in/with hospitals in all aspects of revenue cycle including physician documentation, CDI, Quality and coding
  • Three (3) years working with Solventum Physician, CDI, Quality or Coding solutions and services

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Master's degree in business or healthcare related field
  • Proven ability to facilitate growth by sponsoring and championing new products, programs, and ideas through the encouragement of innovation
  • Proven ability to assess, design and execute complex solutions in a sophisticated organization and translate that to client success
  • Industry and market knowledge as it relates to clinical documentation integrity, quality methodologies and coding solutions
  • Experience presenting at industry tradeshows and internal client events successfully
  • Proven examples driving new product services with success
  • Experience with product development
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
