Established CPA Firm looking for an accountant with a minimum of 3 year's public accounting experience, who is a CPA candidate or CPA certified.
Primary responsibilities will be to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, assist with financial and tax audits, assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements, and other projects as assigned.
Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities include:
Preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns
preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers
tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners
supervising and mentoring staff.
Senior Staff Accountant skills should be:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA License preferred
3+ years of recent, public accounting experience
Strong communication skills
Strong technical skills
The ability to manage multiple client projects with deadlines
Strong leadership qualities
Strong entrepreneurial aspirations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs; QuickBooks, or other accounting software, a plus
