Position Overview

Created Solutions is seeking an experienced Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Program Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will provide systems analysis expertise in support of the development of advanced Missile Defense System capabilities to identify and discriminate lethal objects.

This position requires deep technical expertise in radar, electronic protection, systems engineering, and threat discrimination within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team composed of government and industry partners.
  • Provide technical analysis, program support, and scientific expertise to MDA's Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
  • Develop and formulate technical options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.


Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to qualify for a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Expertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, and object classification.
  • Expertise in electronic protection.
  • Experience with systems engineering analysis and process management, including the development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations (CONOPS), and integrated schedules.
  • Experience conducting technical performance assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation development.
  • Expertise in electronic attack/protection modeling development to support technical analysis and requirements development.
  • Experience developing technology maturation plans to facilitate the transition of emerging technologies to program offices.


Desired Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
  • Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals, including radar capabilities and limitations.
  • Knowledge of electro-optic fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of radar hardware and design.
