MEP-focused Cost Estimator to join our

Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and pricing related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate the client9s project and strategic goals.
- Perform quantity take-off in a manner and level of detail consistent with the project goals and support the team.
- Input estimate data into the appropriate software
- Assure that a quality product is presented to the client through adherence to the company9s QA/QC procedures.
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project9s goals (verbal, written, and graphics)
- Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining the accuracy of cost information.
- Desire to learn, grow, and advance their skills in estimating, and various other project controls.
Qualifications:- One to three years of construction industry experience, preferably involving mechanical, electrical, or plumbing scopes.
- Microsoft Office suite and Smartsheet experience preferred
- Prior working experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or other industry-related take-off software, is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor9s degree, in construction, engineering, or architecture preferred; or 2 years of applicable construction trade experience in lieu of a degree

Compensation: $105,000 - $125,000
