About the Role

The Corporate Engagement Manager is an operational partner and project lead for TAAF's flagship leadership initiatives, including the TAAF ERG Network (TEN) and the TAAF Board Accelerator (TBA). Serving as a bridge between corporate partners and TAAF's mission, this role aligns corporate social responsibility goals with measurable community impact by diversifying corporate boards, empowering employee resource groups, and mobilizing resources to build AAPI advocacy and power. This role reports to the Director, Corporate Engagement.

The ideal candidate is an agile project manager and skilled relationship-builder with demonstrated experience leading ERGs or internal leadership programming. You bring a deep commitment to the AAPI community, thrive in collaborative environments, and approach decision-making with empathy, curiosity, and accountability.

Responsibilities

TAAF ERG Network (TEN)
  • Lead the day-to-day execution and growth of the TAAF ERG Network (TEN), mobilizing employees and leaders as champions for AAPI impact, fundraising, and volunteerism
  • Develop and manage the TEN-programming calendar, including member communications, resource sharing, and community-building events
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate ERG leads to foster ongoing engagement, ensure timely delivery of program benefits, and encourage active participation in TAAF national programming


TAAF Board Accelerator
  • Provide dedicated project management support for the TAAF Board Accelerator (TBA), tracking candidate pipelines, onboarding milestones, and program deliverables
  • Maintain and update the TBA database, ensuring all tracking systems for board candidates, search firm interactions, and corporate vacancies are current and actionable
  • Coordinate operational logistics for TBA initiatives, including roundtable series and governance workshops, ensuring seamless execution of events and ongoing candidate engagement


Corporate Fundraising and Database Management
  • Support the Director, Corporate Engagement in maintaining a robust prospect pipeline and tracking corporate revenue performance, including in-kind contributions and sponsorship fulfillment
  • Maintain the integrity of the corporate database, ensuring accurate records of donor interactions, partnership touchpoints, and stakeholder engagement metrics
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for corporate meetings, stewardship reports, and collaborate on grant proposals to ensure timely and high-quality submissions
  • Research, track and report on corporate social impact trends
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of years of education and relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in corporate partnerships and/or development, preferably with a background in consulting or social impact
  • Experience managing complex projects, databases, and community or stakeholder networks
  • Experience with collaborating with cross-functional internal teams and external corporate stakeholders


Skills and Knowledge
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with a track record of driving consensus across diver, inclusive groups
  • Exceptional judgement in handling sensitive donor records, partner information, and donor stewardship inquiries
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to anticipate team needs
  • Resilient and effective in fast-paced, rapidly evolving organizational environments


Working Hours
  • In-office days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in our New York City office
  • Remote days: Mondays and Fridays offer work-from-home flexibility
  • Travel: Occasional travel to provide hands-on support for live events, conferences, and key team activities
  • Occasional weekend, off-hours or evening work required

Benefits

The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) is committed to salary transparency and pay equity. The hiring range for this position is $89,550 - $99,500 which is carefully benchmarked against the market to ensure competitiveness. Final offers are determined through a structured analysis of relevant experience, skills, and role scope to ensure internal pay equity.
