Description
Position SummaryIn this highly visible Corporate Accountant role, you will partner closely with the Corporate Controller to support accounting activities across multiple entities while helping build scalable processes to support continued growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform centralized general ledger accounting and entity allocations related to insurance, fixed assets, leases, employee benefits, and other corporate accounting activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to payroll, accruals, prepaids, debt, taxes, and intangible assets.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
- Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting schedules.
- Support accounting for employee benefits, including health insurance, workers' compensation, PTO accruals, HSA, and retirement plans.
- Partner with AP to support payments and accounting activities related to corporate entities.
- Assist with implementation of accounting systems, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation to support accounting processes, controls, and audit readiness.
- Take ownership of assigned processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-state, or multi-location environment.
- Experience with fixed assets, leases, and accrual accounting.
- Experience in a private equity-backed or acquisitive organization.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct, FloQast, and Ramp.
Salary Description
$100,000-$120,000 plus bonus opportunity
