Responsibilities

Overview

At FutureCare our Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager will manage processing and collections of accounts receivable, monitor compliance with billing rules/regulations by conducting reviews/audits relating to Medicaid/Managed Care, and general operation.  Additionally, the Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager will also provide regular on-site guidance to the facility Patient Account Manager and facility management to ensure delivery of high-quality services of profitability and collections.

 

***Competitive Pay $85K - 90K/yr***

 

 

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Review and provide guidance to Patient Account Managers regarding Aspect of Care and RFMS audits
  • Assist in ventilator as well as other referrals as needed
  • Provide RFMS guidance to Manager as needed for State Official review
  • Responsible for quarterly credit balance report review
  • Attend legal actions as needed (guardianship, etc.)
  • Provide regular on-site guidance as requested by facility Patient Account Manager and facility management to ensure the company goals of the delivery of high-quality services and profitability and collections are achieved
  • Ensure operations of the business office comply with FutureCare standards and all regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the implementation of and compliance with financial and operating policies and procedures
  • Facilitate effective problem identification when there are variances from expected standards
  • Ensure facility business office compliance with action plans to correct identified problems
  • Utilize available data, including agings, A/R tracking logs, census and customer service data to identify potential problems relating to Private Pay, Medicaid, and Managed Care Balances
  • Assist in the revision and/or development of A/R, systems, policies and procedures to promote continual improvement
  • Assist in the integration of FutureCare’s Customer Service philosophy at the facility level to enhance the quality of service and customer satisfaction
  • Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
  • Possess Notary Public to assist in obtaining various documents
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Director Patient Accounts

 

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in a healthcare related accounts receivable environment including supervisory status
  • Possess a Maryland Notary Public Certification 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with vendors, payors, staff, and management
  • Strong research, problem solving, and resolution abilities are also required
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and solid knowledge using Excel software
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
