I Can Succeed as a Core Operations Manager

Core Operations powers the capabilities behind Capital Group’s investment process, client experience, and global growth. Our teams support onboarding, servicing, cash activity, investment data, trade operations, fund accounting, NAV operations, tax, reconciliation, and related capabilities.

As an Account Implementation & Servicing (AIS) Manager in Core Operations, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for subscriptions, redemptions, fund shareholder transactions, and related client account activity. You will partner on portfolio transitions, fund launches, and other complex events, leading the shareholder transaction and cash flow activities associated with these initiatives while translating requirements, risks, options, and trade-offs across custodian banks, transfer agents, and internal teams to deliver practical, client-centric solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives, drive modernization efforts and help shape scalable operational capabilities that support Capital Group's clients and long-term growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investment operations, asset management, fund accounting, financial services operations, or a related financial markets functions.
• 5+ years of direct people leadership, with a track record of building high-performing teams and leading teams through change, transformation, or large-scale initiatives.
• Experience with transfer agencies, custodian banks, fund shareholder transactions, client account operations or complex operational events including fund launches and portfolio transitions.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process modernization, or technology-enabled change initiatives is strongly preferred.

 

Work Location: Our hybrid work model requires in-office collaboration in our Charlotte office Monday-Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $136,749-$218,798

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
