JOBSUMMARY
Weare seeking an Controls Project Manager- Automated Trailer Fill based out ofthe Irving, TX office to modernize and support our cryogenic trailer fillingoperations. In this role, you will manage and execute automation capitalprojects (CapEx) and control system modernization strategies, driving therollout of our ATLAS platform across legacy facilities. You will be responsiblefor leading multi-site panel retrofits, managing budgets and timelines, andoverseeing the deployment of critical process safety controls, productivityKPIs, and the automated documentation required for bulk liquid medical gasshipments.
EssentialFunctions
Orchestrate automation CapEx and migration projects for trailer loading zones by identifying obsolete infrastructure, managing lifecycle risks, and directing ATLAS upgrades smoothly, on time, within budget, and to scope.
Lead the physical and electrical execution of automated fill zone upgrades, managing full cabinet teardowns, the removal of legacy components, and the installation of new CTI or Siemens hardware, physical wiring layouts, and modernized assemblies.
Collaborate closely with plant Controls Engineers on ATLAS modernization projects where physical fill zone wiring is retained, ensuring seamless alignment while rewriting software loading logic and upgrading traditional HMIs to modern Ignition SCADA platforms.
Generate, review, and revise highly detailed schematic wiring diagrams, loop sheets, panel layout drawings, and updated P&IDs to reflect the newly modernized trailer loading and product analysis infrastructure accurately.
Coordinate extensively cross-functional projects with corporate engineering, plant operations, quality assurance, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure seamless delivery with zero disruption to shipping schedules.
Direct specialized external electrical contractors, panel fabricators, and system integrators to guarantee strict adherence to corporate engineering standards, safety requirements, project scope, and timelines.
Draft and enforce strict Management of Change (MOC) protocols for capital project deployments, executing pre-commissioning safety reviews, risk assessments, and software validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) before trailer loading systems go live.
Oversee the integration of critical process safety controls, emergency shutdown logic, and specialized analytical instrumentation to ensure all projects minimize operational risk and accurately verify product purity.
Track and manage project milestones that directly improve plant productivity KPIs, ensuring new system installations optimize loading zone uptime, minimize venting losses, and maximize trailer capacities.
