We are seeking a Controls and Automation Engineer to join our Maintenance and Reliability team supporting large-scale industrial operations. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to design, modify, and enhance automated systems, equipment, and processes that support safe, efficient production. This position combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration across operations, maintenance, and engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design,implement, and maintain automated control systems with both automatic andmanual modes of operation.
  • Developand integrate Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to improve operatorvisibility and system control.
  • Establishand maintain factory information systems for real-time process monitoringand performance tracking.
  • Providetechnical support for integrating standalone control elements intocentralized or networked systems.
  • Collaboratewith maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment reliability,uptime, and safety.
  • Troubleshootand optimize PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and industrial networkinfrastructure.
  • Supportcommissioning and startup of new equipment, system upgrades, and capitalprojects.
  • Maintainsystem documentation, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety,environmental, and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Abilityto climb ladders and stairs, and to bend, kneel, or crawl as required.
  • Abilityto lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Mustbe able to wear required PPE including steel-toe footwear, hard hat, andsafety glasses.
  • Abilityto work safely in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditionsyear-round.
