Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC)/Remote
Essential Functions:
Definition and documentation of the software interfaces of all sub-systems.
Definition and monitoring of the controls test levels of all sub-systems.
Implementation and verification of the software safety requirements in compliance with the specifications from the technical engineering.
Design, configuration, programming, and commissioning of complex control systems for automation projects, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI.
Startup, pre-commissioning, commissioning and PLC software parametrization for Schaefer equipment.
Plausibility check of the performance measurement protocol and handover protocol for installation.
Produce and review control system documentation, including manuals, standard operating procedures, technical reports and special equipment functionalities.
Work in contact with project team and IT team, participating in meetings related to the project.
Work in contact to customer service when needed.
Minimum of 50% travel within the US but may also include some international travel.
Qualification Requirements:
4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar work.
Minimum of 2-years experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7 PLC's in the intralogistics industry.
2-year experience developing software using software languages specified by IEC 61131-1 standards.
