Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Project management
- Design, build, supervise, install & test electrical control systems/panels for hydraulic presses/equipment
- Write new & modify existing program code (PLC, HMI, DBs...)
- (Hands-on) troubleshooting & problem-solving
- Provide technical service/support to various departments within the organization
- Occasional travel
QualificationsSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, DEGREES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years' experience in manufacturing/automation environment
- Creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient in design/drafting tools: AutoCAD (Electrical), Inventor, SolidWorks...
- Knowledge of codes, standards & regulations (ANSI, NEC, NEMA, UL, CE, OSHA...)
- Sensor technology (flow, pressure, level, temperature, position, motion, vision...)
- Basic understanding of physical principals/calculations:
- Pressure, tonnage, flow, temperature
- Horse power, torque
- Area, volumetric, density, and mass relationships
- Velocity, acceleration
- Unit conversions (Metric system!)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
