Full Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead client accounting engagements, managing all aspects of the client's accounting function to ensure accurate and timely reporting of business financials
Develop, document, and continuously improve finance processes, controls, and operational efficiency
Prepare and review all financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement on a monthly basis within 7 business days of month end
Provide ongoing financial reporting, tracking of Key Performance Indicators, strategic insights into business performance, and proactive cash flow management to clients
Support clients through fundraising processes through data room preparation, communication with external financing partners, and ongoing needs
Collaborate closely with tax partners to provide information necessary for quarterly estimates and annual corporate tax filings
Manage Velo's financial operations team who performs bookkeeping categorization and reconciliation on a weekly basis, managing the communication process with clients to ensure accurate categorization of vendors and expenses
Ensure clients utilize the appropriate financial tech stack and manage the implementation and day to day use of the selected tools
