We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our accounting functions. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing using advanced accounting software.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to support organizational decision-making.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation to maintain precise financial records.
- Oversee cash management activities including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to policies related to double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting standards.
- Coordinate external audits, regulatory reporting, and tax filings while maintaining comprehensive documentation for audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes by leveraging accounting software tools for automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong background in the legal field.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, financial analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and familiarity with financial management tools is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.
- Experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes along with payroll administration is required.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while communicating findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
