Full Job Description
We're hiring a Controller for a large SaaS company based in Huntington Beach, CA.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader to partner closely with finance leadership, build scalable processes, and support a rapidly growing business.
Key responsibilities:
• Own the month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition across subscription, licensing, and services revenue.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, including onshore and offshore resources.
• Drive a billing system migration and strengthen billing accuracy and controls.
• Own NetSuite and its Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module.
• Improve accounting processes through systems optimization, AI, and automation.
• Manage external audits and strengthen internal controls as the business scales.
What we're looking for:
• Software or SaaS industry experience required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly ASC 606 and complex revenue recognition.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing outsourced resources.
• A track record of improving close processes and building scalable accounting operations.
Experience with NetSuite, NetSuite ARM, and AppDirect is a plus.
